Get The Hook - Amy Davis

Amy Davis, the newest American Idol reject, went to my high school. I knew who she was but I wasn’t aware that she was a singer.
The amount of people from my hometown wishing Amy luck and acting like they know her so well is amusing, but I think that happens with anyone who gets their 15 minutes. There are people that I was friends in high school that are gushing about Amy and I can guarantee they never spoke a word to her in four years.
It’s kind of like the person that claims to be a life-long fan of a team in the World Series or Super Bowl, but you’ve never seen them wear a team t-shirt or hat.
I’ve jumped on many a bandwagon in my lifetime, but you won’t see me in the audience when Amy Davis does the bar circuit in Northwest Indiana.
I thought she was awful last night, she was like night and day from her auditions. I can honestly say I don’t know her. Better luck somewhere else Amy.
