Funny hats and costumes are the staple of any gathering in my family. From Thanksgiving to Christmas to Easter, there’s always holiday dilly-boppers to be found.
At the risk of appearing to be a complete loon at my in-laws (and to fellow Self Portrait Sunday participants), I went ahead and assembled my costume of antlers and blinking nose.
Head over to Digi-Cass and take a look and see if anyone else is in the holiday spirit this Sunday.

I’ve learned a lot about computer repair through simple trial and error. It probably wasn’t the most efficient or effective way to learn, but it was a necessity because there was no one around to fix my computer but me! UnlimitedPCRepair.com can teach you to fix common computer problems before they happen. Or in my case, before I cause them.
I didn’t follow through a few weeks ago when I mentioned that I’m changing my blog theme, but I’m hoping to follow through this time. With the help of Lori, I have a brand new theme that I’m very happy with, but that I’m having a hell of a time making my own.
Lets go ahead and make it my New Year’s resolution is to revamp my blog. I think I can stick to that. In the mean time, don’t be surprised if you see crazy things going on here.
My mom obviously isn’t interested in the Miracle Burn diet. Mike walked into the kitchen last night to see her piping real whipped cream in the baker’s bag on top of a sugar cookie and his eyes popped out of his head, jaw dropped, and he gasped. Not out of horror, but out of delight. If i wasn’t around, I’m sure he would have asked her to make him one, too.
Mike, Ollie, and I took a little trip last night, but it wasn’t one that we needed travel insurance for. We drove around the neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights, and I was disappointed that not many people went all out with their decorating.

This house was really fun and had decorations around the entire house. There were even blue lights in the snow around the ice skaters (very right) to look like ice.

This is The Angel House that has been decorated the exact same for as many years as I can remember. The lights are synched to music and different elements light up and move at different times.

The wise men and angel are life size mannequins, and the tree in the front window has angles that fly around it and sparkle.
