My shopping addiction is evident by the bi-monthly trips to the outlets, but I don’t descriminate when it comes to shopping. My addiction includes everything from clothes and purses to jewelry, like this 14k Gold Chain. Most of the jewerly I wear is sterling silver because I like the color, and I know Mike loves tungsten because it is so durable and manly. Well, as manly as jewelry can get.
Emporer Jewels is a great jewelry website to get bargins on classic jewelry and the newest trends. If you’re huting for something specific, the website is searchable by jewelry type, metal, stone and if you’re extra thrifty, price.
There’s even a wedding shop if you’re in the market for some engagement rings!

My sister got the best email ever from our 12 year old cousin, Mitchell, with the subject line “I Shaved”.
Ashely I shaved this morning. It was awesome. Talk to you later. Bye.

See that serious looking guy to the left? That’s Glenn Glasgow. He’s a writer, painter, and poet from the British West Indies that takes a different view to his art. In the book Our Market, he writes through the eyes insects, and his his book Phzed, he writes through the eyes of the tools used to build Stonehenge, Noah’s Ark, and the Pyramids of Giza.
His works are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books A Million, as well as his website, Phzed which offers t-shirts of over 100 of his paintings.
His artwork is simple and to the point, and reminds me of doodles, which lends itself to a degree of honesty. Some of his paintings serious and reflect current events, like Nappy-Headed Host. Others works are light hearted and funny, like Frank The Weiner (my personal favorite) and Family Tree.
I’m not sure how serious of an artist he is (his bio isn’t available on hsi website, and I think that’s a really important detail to leave out!), as some of his work seems scattered and run of the mill, but he’s putting it out there, and that’s worth something. He’s compelled by his art, and that’s what counts.
Check him out, he may be your thing.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to try barium, consider yourself lucky. It tastes like marshmellows and dirty, with the consistency of Elmers glue.
It’s used in x-raying the digestive system, which I had to have done this morning, so please don’t think I’m running around drinking barium on my own accord.
The first thing I do in the morning, is check the news to make sure I didn’t miss anything earthshattering while I slept. I check the local news, then national news, then celebrity news. Okay, maybe celebrity news is first but that’s besides the point. There’s a new News Blog that lets you create your own news reel. Congoo News Circles lets you pull news from over 480 categories and 150,000 news articles daily. Once you’ve set up a reel, you can share it with friends and family and even create a widget to add to your own blog.
