15 Pounds of Chicken Wings

Have you ever had 15 pounds of chicken wings in your freezer? I hadn’t. Until today.
You see, I work for a marketing company that specializes in food. That means all our clients make something yummy that you can either buy in a grocery store or are served at a restaurant. When the client needs a brochure or a billboard or a display for a convention, it typically incorporates food photography, which my company also does, and is how I ended up with 15 pounds of chicken wings.
There was a photoshoot yesterday showcasing chicken recipes that is going to be featured in the client’s next newsletter. When you have a food photoshoot, you never know how the recipes are going to turn out, so you buy extra food in case the first batch of chicken wings isn’t photogenic. Well, this time the first batch was photogenic, so the extras were up for grabs and ended up in my freezer.
Over the past three months, I’ve lugged home an entire turkey, a whole salmon, various fruits and veggies, and now chicken wings. Call it a perk.
Edit: Yes. That’s the finished photograph from yesterday’s photoshoot to the left.
